VIENNA'S NEWEST SPORTS BAR
At The Short Hall, sport isn’t background noise, it’s the main event. Built as a true sports pub for Vienna, The Short Hall brings fans together for the biggest matches in football, rugby, and international sport, shown live across multiple screens in a lively pub atmosphere.
Whether it’s Premier League or local football, Six Nations rugby, Champions League nights, or major international tournaments, this is where supporters gather to watch the game the way it’s meant to be watched: with a great pint in hand and a room full of fans who care just as much as you do.
New to Vienna but rooted in Irish pub tradition, The Short Hall is quickly becoming the city’s home for match day, where every goal is celebrated loudly and every big game feels like a final.
CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
You survived a month of international heartbreak, penalty shootouts, and people insisting “football’s coming home” at the World Cup.
Now it’s time for the competition that never disappoints.
From the very first qualifying rounds right through to the Champions League Final, The Short Hall will be showing selected Champions League matches live.
So swap international loyalties for club colours, grab a perfectly poured Guinness, and settle in for another season of Europe’s biggest nights under the lights.
THE PREMIER LEAGUE IS BACK
Looking for somewhere to watch the Premier League in Vienna? The Short Hall has you covered.
Expect most Premier League games LIVE, cold pints, plenty of atmosphere and a room full of people who suddenly become qualified football managers the moment a player misplaces a pass.
Whether you’re backing Arsenal, Liverpool, City, United, Chelsea, Spurs — or just hoping everyone loses — come and watch the action with us.
Big games. Big screens. Big opinions.
Great pints. Air Conditioning.
Proper football atmosphere.
Short Name. Long Evenings.
See you at The Short Hall, Vienna
ABOUT US
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Vienna’s 7th District, The Short Hall is an Irish- owned and themed pub that marries contemporary style with Centre warmth, offering both locals and international visitors a distinctive destination to eat, drink, watch sport and connect.
Themed and styled in line with its already popular siste pub, The Long Hall in the 8th District. The Short Hall is like “The Long Hout a little cosier (due to its smaller size), a dynamic venue with prenum beers and whiskeys, and plenty of screens showing major sporting events around the world.
The Short Hall is a great addition to the beautiful cultural Spittelberg district.

Kicking Off Friday
15 August 2025
The beer is cold, the fixtures are hot, and your mate is already talking nonsense about how his team will win the league this year. Yep—it’s time. The 2025/26 Premier League season kicks off on Friday, 15 August, and we at The Long Hall are ready for 38 weeks of joy, rage, VAR-induced migraines, and shouting at players who can’t hear us.
Here’s a look at the top contenders—plus Manchester United.
SAME SPIRIT. LESS SQUARE METRES.
We are the smaller, cosier, equally opinionated sister pub of The Long Hall, created for those moments when the older sister venue is bursting at the seams and we are the younger sibling who learned all the bad habits and perfected them.
We serve the same great drinks, the same friendly faces, and the same lively atmosphere — just in a more intimate setting where conversations get louder faster, strangers become friends quicker and “just one” is still a lie.
